Amit Rana to lead as chairperson of Bar council of Punjab and Haryana

Chandigarh, October 11: The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana conducted its elections today under the supervision of Sh. Maninderjit Singh Bedi, Advocate General, Punjab, who served as the Returning Officer. In the outcome of the elections, Sh. Amit Rana has been elected Chairman, while Ms. Sharmila Sharma has been elected Vice-Chairperson of the Bar Council. Additionally, Sh. Karanjit Singh has been elected as a Member of the Bar Council of India, and Sh. Pardeep Parmar has been appointed Honorary Secretary of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. The appointments and election results mark the formation of the Council’s leadership following today’s electoral proceedings.
